WASE (Wipro Academy of Software Excellence) aims at providing an opportunity to your students to pursue an 8-semester (four years) off-campus Collaborative MS Program from Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani, while working with Wipro at the same time. Being placed in various business domains, the students will work on live projects to gain practical expertise. Apart from instilling rock-solid confidence, WASE program helps in developing the skill sets of the students to gain the required competitive edge in the intricate Information Technology industry.
The details of the complete process are explained as under:
Wipro Technologies is looking for BSc graduates to work on a wide spectrum of IT Services. Selected candidates will be a part of the Wipro Team. The program in Wipro begins with training on specific software domains. After successful completion of the training, they will be placed on projects.

Candidates who join Wipro would have the opportunity to join our WASE program and continue their academic pursue by doing MS with BITS, Pilani. Wipro's client list ranges across several industries and solutions thereby creating an environment with challenges and opportunities, to choose the area of desired specialization while working with some of the best people in the industry.
Eligibility
BSc (Computer Science/Maths/Electronics/IT/Physics/Statistics) passing out in 2008.
Must have had Maths as one of the subjects in PU/ XIIth
Academics
Students should have a consistent academic record of 60% from Standard X.
X – 60% or higher
XII – 60% of higher
BSc – Aggregate of 60% (I & II Year together)
Aggregate calculation: - Sum of marks obtained in all semesters/ years divided by Total Maximum marks). An aggregate of 59.9 will not be considered as equal to 60%.
Application Process
Interested Students need to register online at http://careers.wipro.com/wase and send in their CVs to cpc.kmc@gmail.com. If the students have already sent in their CVs for the previous events organised by The Placement Cell, then they need not send in their CVs again but should necessarily send in a mail stating the same to the official mail of The Placement Cell.
NOTE: ONLY THOSE STUDENTS WHO SEND IN THEIR CVs BEFORE HAND SHALL BE ELIGIBLE TO SEEK THE PLACEMENT.
Details of the venue and the date of the test would be confirmed in the next 2 weeks after registration.
Selection Process
The program on the day of the test will begin with a pre-placement talk which gives the students an opportunity to know more about Wipro and the career options available to them. Candidates will undergo a written aptitude test. Shortlisted candidates of the test will attend Communication Skills Test followed by Technical and HR interviews. The process may take more then one day.
The results will be announced via email to all the candidates who attend the HR interview.
NOTE:
This event shall be a Joint Venture between Avenues-The Placement Cell and The Central Placement Cell, University of Delhi. For the aforesaid event the students of KMC shall be alongside competing with the students of Hindu College and Ramjas College.
